Magazine Launch, Art Exhibit and Skate Contest
June 16-July 1, 2018

Join us on Saturday, June 16th as we celebrate the creative culture of skateboarding with the release of the inaugural issue of Stoke Much with a gallery show of works by Blake Carpenter, Zorah Olivia, Kyle Knoblauch, Zach Moldof, Josh Bowser et al. Lookback Library will be on site with a Poweredge Magazine retrospective. We will kick off the festivities with a DIY contest for best trick over the fire hydrant out front of These Days (with prizes from Girl, Toy Machine, Altamont, and more!). Tunes will flow, as will libations and good vibes. Come back on Saturday, June 23 for a free collage lab with fresh copies of Stoke Much, as well as other complementary tools and materials provided by Twin Beast.

Skateboarding's past has never been more valuable, and its future has never been more uncertain. That's why we created Stoke Much, a magazine that publishes narratives that support, promote and empower people who skateboard. We're not looking for the craziest feats of athleticism, we're about appreciating the creative culture of skateboarding from as many angles as possible.

The premier issue of Stoke Much features a range of creative people from skateboarding and beyond. Each issue captures the creative spirit and industrious values of the culture in a variety of contexts. What follows inside the issue is intended to stoke both skaters and non-skaters alike, and depict a culture that works for everyone who is stoked on skateboarding.
