MOZ ANGELES | Los Angeles's strange love of The Smiths

From Sept. 7th through Oct. 22nd we exhibited ten framed vintage UK subway posters for cult band The Smiths and one smaller poster for Morrissey's first solo album, 1988s Viva Hate. Halfway through the shows run a friend donated a 6'1" cut out of Morrissey. The Smiths & Moz have an incredibly devoted following in Los Angeles, many of whom made the trek to visit the exhibit. We began photographing the visitors who are part of the LA Moz phenomena and are currently creating a zine of this family of fans. Unfortunately we were not able to photograph everyone but these are a few of the wonderful people who came through.
