LOS ANGELES FOTOFOLIO #14 | A ONE NIGHT EXHIBITION
Friday March 2, 7-9p
Please join us in celebrating the release of Fotofolio #14, as well as the magazine’s recent achievement of official non-profit status as a 501(c)(3). This one-night exhibition will feature every issue of the large-format newsprint magazine, deconstructed to cover every inch of wall space in the gallery.
Los Angeles Fotofolio is an underground journal dedicated exclusively to the reproduction of traditional process black-and-white photography. Founded by photographer Gusmano Ceseretti, the publication pursues an altruistic mission of sharing this art form with communities not typically exposed to photography as an art form. Distributed in low-income housing projects, the Financial District, subway trains, downtown street corners, schools and prisons, Fotofolio is offered free of charge and available to everyone.
