Scrapbook by David King contains pages from Volume One of a series of scrapbooks begun in the 1960s. First in London, then in New York and continuing in San Francisco. The contents were cut or torn from magazines or found blowing down the street. Also included are a few of King's editorial illustrations. Some personal photos complete the collection. Many of the earliest pieces come from a golden age of editorial photography and illustration, when newspapers first published a color supplement on Sundays. David King is a designer, artist, and photographer most noted for creating the iconic logo for British anarcho-punk band Crass. Published by Colpa Press, 2017.
